The 5 years period of grace for non-use of the Romanian registered marks (nationally of internationally) will end on July 23, 2003.

Starting July 23, 2003, any trademark not used for 5 years from the registration date will be liable for cancellation by a court action.

If any of your registered marks can not be effectively used and the protection thereof is an important issue for you/your clients, we strongly recommend the re-filing thereof.
