A WINNING TEAM! First place in the PATENT CUP REGATTA 2008!June 01, 2008 We have the pleasure to proudly announce that one of our colleagues Michael Enache, together with the team of International II had won the 20th PATENT CUP REGATTA, which took place in Venice, Italy on 29-31 of may 2008. The International II team (Oscar boat), was greatly skippered by Tom Vigil (USA) and consisted of Andrew Knowles (New Zeeland), James Cherry (Australia), Claus-Dieter Hinz (Germany), Michael Enache (Romania) and Justin Williams (USA). The event was greatly organized by Roncuzzi & Associati, off the shores of Lido and had as headquarters the beautiful Certosa Island. At the start of this friendship race fifteen boats participated from Canada, USA, Germany, France, UK, Italy, Brazil, Two International Teams and Two European Patent Office Teams. Although International II Team consisted of five nations, three age generations and one rookie (Michael Enache), they managed to pull out a beautiful performance and won the prestigious sailing event. Michael would especially like to thank Tom Vigil for the invitation to participate in the Patent Cup, and also would like to thank Andrew Knowles for being such a good sailing teacher. It was a great honor for our firm to be a part of 2008 PATENT CUP!
